3 months

I can't believe it has been 3 months already. We don't go back to the doctor until her 4 month visit, but Mike weighed Karlee the other day and she is hitting close to 15 pounds. Needless to say, she is definitely a healthy eater. Here are a few pictures from our 3 month photo shoot this morning.

I know...it's been awhile

We have been busy around here with work and the 2 girls. Reagan is still doing really well with Karlee, wanting to hold her, kiss and hug her. She continues to torment Howie. We have been attempting to start potty trainind, but so far, not good. We've put pull ups on her and told her she is not to get Dora or Cinderella wet. And not 10 minutes later, she is coming to us and letting us know that Dora or Cinderella is wet. So, at least she is letting us know she's wet. She loves singing and reading stories, and is very much into Dora.

Karlee is a very good baby. Cries when she's wet or hungry or just wants to be held. We are still not sleeping that much at night, but have been able to get about 4-5 hours at a stretch. She just enjoys her food......a lot! She enjoys watching Reagan, Pongo, Howie, and the fans. She can just lay there and watch the fans and talk to them. We're getting a few giggles from her every now and then and can't wait till she really giggles for us. Here's a few random pictures from the last few weeks.

Merry Christmas everyone!

We are very excited to be celebrating our first Christmas as a family of 4. And to top it off, we will be having a white Christmas as it snowed last weekend and most of the snow is still here. Reagan is very excited and keeps singing the first lines of Rudolph and Frosty the Snowman. She has been running around the house like a mad woman. It must be nice to have all that energy. Karlee is growing like a weed, way too fast. We took her to the doctor on Monday for her 2 month check up and to get her first shots. We also took a few pictures, so enjoy! Baby Sister has arrived! Karlee Ann Shaw arrived Tuesday, October 20 at 10:24 Am. She wieghed in at 8 lbs 5 oz and was 21.75 inches long. I am not complaining too much because labor was pretty quick this go around. Contractions started about 2:15 AM and 8 hours later, we had our beautiful baby girl. Reagan has been doing really well with her. No real jealousy issues yet, but who knows. She wants to hold her, give her her paci, help me put her in her seat, or just give her kisses. We (Mike) called my mom and dad that morning about 5 to let them know we were headed to the hospital. Then he called Ms. Lisa (one of Reagan's teachers) to have her come over and sit with Reagan and then take her to school for us. Mama and Daddy picked Reagan up from school and headed on over to the hospital. She was very excited to meet baby sister and wanted to just look at her at first and then wanted daddy to help her hold the baby. Karlee is a good baby, we are working on getting our days and nights straightened out. She has actually slept in her bed for at least 3 hours the last 2 nights. The first time since we brought her home. The other nights have been spent on our chests in bed with us. So, even though we are tired, we are very happy to finally have out little girl home with us.
