Pictures

Open House at Day Care. They had a "fall fest" type theme. Where the kids could "bob" for apples. They had a ladle with a string on the handle where the big kids had to wear the ladle around their neck and scoop up an apple. Of course Reagan just wanted to play in the water. I guess it's a good thing it wasn't that busy at that time.

They set up a section where you could build your own scarecrow. We brought in old clothes and got to work.

Family portrait with mini-Reagan

Just a miscellaneous picture of Reagan going to school. It is now cold here and so she got to wear her new hat. Wasn't too happy about it, but I won the battle that morning.

Free toys are the best. She loved this box.
We went to one of the markets up here and picked up some apples so we could make and can some applesauce. Well, Reagan raided the bag with the apples and went to town. (I also loved the picture because of the hair. She had been laying down supposed to be taking a nap and when Mike brought her back downstairs, she had this wonderful hairdo. I loved the ponytails both leaning to the side.)

Once again, I have help in the laundry room. This time, I went into the kitchen to get my camera and came back to find her in action.

Ta-da! She was very proud of herself.

Trick or Treat night at mom's work. This is mainly with the skilled care and assisted living residents at work. My residents don't really participate with this one. We decorate the lounge upstairs in skilled care and have snacks, coloring stations, and a movie. Then we give candy out to the residents who would like to have the children trick or treat at their door.
This is our first attempt at the costume. She refused the little hat that went with it. Very cute spider though, huh?
I finally got the hat on...it helped a little that she was watching another little boy (he was dressed as a devil and she was trying to figure him out.)
How cute is this??
Sitting with dad watching the birds and eating her cookie. I think she did have a good time. Mike said she got the hang of the trick or treat deal. She would walk up to a resident, look in their bucket, get her a piece of candy or two and walk down to the next resident. It is a really fun night, the kids enjoy getting the candy and the residents enjoy watching the kids.
