I know, I know, it's been a while. We are officially on countdown till "Baby Sister" gets here. As of this coming Wednesday, we have 6 weeks to go. And I can't wait! Mama and Daddy were here this weekend helping with getting ready. Mama washed a bunch of baby clothes and helped get cleaned up. Daddy painted Reagan's big girl bed for us so we are getting there. Reagan is growing way too fast. She is now enjoying cartoons and actually sitting still for them. So, needless to say, Mike and I are getting quite the introduction to Max & Ruby, Kai Lan, Dora, Diego, and Blue's Clues. These are the most watched anyway. Her favorite song lately is "Alright" by Darius Rucker. We have to sing it whenever we get in the car and at night we have to find it on the computer for her to sing. She is just way too cute. We are definitely in the 2's. She knows what she wants to do and when she wants to do it. This weekend, Reagan and I were sitting at the table and she was fussing about something and Mike told her she needed to settle down or she would go to her chair until she did. She just looked at him and "No daddy, I'm crying." I don't know how he kept it together, it was the funniest thing. Not a tear in her eye, but she wasn't going to do what he said because she was crying. She's always coming up with something. It should really be interesting when we bring "Baby Sister" home and see how she does with that. She has been Mommy's girl lately and only mommy can do things for her. But we think that is just coming from she knows there is a big change coming and I'm the one she's clinging to. so, we just have plenty of together time and cuddle time. Which is perfectly fine with me. We have a wedding to go to this weekend. Mike's cousin is getting married, and Reagan and Mike are both in it so there will definitely be pictures to be posted after that, until then here are a few random pictures. Enjoy!
Free toys are usually the best. Reagan and I went to Florida for the 4th and she buddied with friend's son and they had the best time playing in the cooler.
This is from the Patriotic Fashion Show we had at my work. We asked daycare to participate in this one again because the residents love seeing all the kids.
Enjoying the watermelon out on the deck.
She has loved going to the garden with Daddy this summer. She really loved the strawberries. She would come back to the house with a red ring around her mouth and I would ask, "Reagan, were you eating strawberries?" "No, I not have any strawberries..."
