Weekend with the Grandparents

We got to spend some quality time with my mom, dad, brother, and grandma this weekend. I was excited that my grandma came. She has been doing really well since my grandpa passed away in June. They got here Saturday afternoon and were here until Tuesday. Well, Monday, I had to work, so Reagan got to really spend some quality time with everyone. They thoroughly enjoy her. It is absolutely amazing that something that small can entertain us all the time. Everything is such a wonder to them. My parents really love every second they get to spend with her. We love it too, not only is she even more spoiled when it's over, but it's guaranteed she will have learned a new trick when the weekend is over. This time it was winking. Of course she scrunches up her nose and blinks both eyes, but she "winks." She got to go out and about Gettysburg with them on Monday while Mike and I were at work. Trust me, I would have preferred to be at home....

I have to say that I am truly blessed with a wonderful family. My parents take the time to travel the 8 hours up here to spend time with Reagan and with us, and a lot of the times it is just for a weekend, but you never know what you'll do for love. Especially when it's the love of a grandchild.

Sorry for the rambling post, but hopefully I'll get the hang of this sooner or later. I figured it's just a quick way for us to let others know what is going on up here in good ole Gettysburg, PA. For good measure here is a picture of Reagan, it is not from this weekend, but you can see what a joy she is.
