Too cute

Have I mentioned before that Reagan is just too cute? The problem with that???? She knows it. She just gets cuter and cuter with everything that she is learning these days. We went this past weekend to Mike's mom and dad's for a surprise 25th wedding anniversary for his aunt and uncle. While at the party, he Uncle Lee was holding Baby Maddie (our new niece) and we thought we would see if Reagan would hold her. I put Reagan in my lap, and then Maddie in hers. She never touched her, just looked at her trying to figure out why Maddie was in her lap. She had enough when she put her hand on Maddie's cheek and started pushing her as hard as she could. Uncle Lee took Maddie and we tried explaining to Reagan she had to be easy and gentle with the baby. Yeah, it is interesting trying to explain that to a 14 month old. So, later on when we were leaving the party, we asked Reagan if she wanted to give Maddie some love. She did. She got Maddie in the tightest "bear hug" possible, right around the neck. It was so funny and she thought she did something good so she had to give her another hug. After she did that, she would just look at us and grin because she thought she did something way too cute and got a reaction out of us. Then she moved on to her new thing: telling everyone "bye bye." The only thing with that is she hasn't gotted the "b" sound yet, so everything is "dy dy." and she waves her hand as fast as possible. If that doesn't get teh reaction she wants, she hollers louder "dy dy!!!" and waves both hands in the air. Again, this girl is just way too cute for her own good. And we are absolutely enjoying every minute of it. Of course there are more things I could tell you right now, but this blog would be way too long, so I'll write more later. I'm going to enjoy my evening with "boo."
